
The Building Access Program
The Building Emergency Access Program is a Community Safety and Well-being focused program that is led by the Peel Regional Police. This ground-breaking initiative is leveraging Safe Buildings technology to reduce emergency response for our first responders.
This program is a true community partnership, where building owners participate in the program by registering their building through the Safe Buildings application, and grant Peel Regional Police, “emergency use lobby access only" - to a secure lobby access code - and effectively remove “minutes" off of emergency response times.
There is no cost to building Owners, set up takes under 10 minutes to register. All activity is tracked and fully auditable for complete transparency and accountability.
